Yes – Chuckleberry really is a fruit! This beautiful berry is the result of crossing red gooseberry, blackcurrant, redcurrant, and jostleberry, giving a deliciously fruity yet sharp preserve. Great in jam tarts, victoria sponge filling, scones, and clotted cream but also wonderfully flavoursome with baked camembert, goats cheese, and cheddar For a real treat, use as a glaze or just with venison, roast duck, or lamb.
And one of my favourite humans, @goodys Bakery swindon, use this special jam in all their cakes…. so I decided to put their logo on the labels as they really keep me on my toes they use so much, and everyone comments how gorgeous it is with their special celebration cakes.
This jam will send your tastes buds to a new level…
